My second Festool purchase was also from Eagle Tools of Los Angeles, in January 2006 a few days after I bought my first TS55.

That was an OF1010, with the 1080mm "Holy" rail, the complete LR32 kit in a Systainer, a few more clamps and a Tradesman cleaning set. I paid extra, I think, for an AS 36mm hose, so I could use it with the TS55.

Festool 498899 Assorted Domino Beech Tenons and Cutters in T-Loc Systainer
Festool 497700 Tradesman/Installer Cleaning Set
Festool 574432 DF 500 Q Domino Joiner Set in T-Loc Systainer 2
Festool 496120 Longlife Filter Bag for CT 26

SYSLite at Woodcraft in Jacksonville after holding it and seeing the brightness and spread in person.

After getting my TS55 i needed dust extraction obviusly so had to get CTL26 that came with compact cleaning kit that came in a sustainer - getting hooked!

So far about 1/3 of the second purchasers are in the 300-600 range? Must have immediately run back to get another tool !! no-one can own just one kinda like potato chips !! The only way to cure the Green Fever it is to buy the ALL!!

Well i now have my TS55, 2 rails and accessory kit. Plus the sys roll and a systainer 5 to keep my makita lxt stuff in.  [big grin]

Saving for the CXS/ midi  next and maybe DRC too  [cool]

First purchase was the TS55 REBQ with guide rail and accessory kit.

Second purchase was the MFT3, here in Australia for far more than what you pay in the USA. RRP is $AUD1275 = $USD1183  [sad]

Bought the TS-55, another FS guide rail, more accessories.  Catching a fever for green stuff......

My second Festool purchase was today a DF700XL with systainer Domino kits of 14mm and 8mm/10mm. Total cost £975.

Being delivered in the morning.

more systainers for me, festo didn't make the tools or they were out of my price range for the use they got so I had to buy makita or similar and hide them in a decent box  [smile]

CXS which was after I told myself (and my gf at the time) I wouldn't buy another tool from Festool because of the price. Since then it's gone downhill.

Or uphill...

I wish I could remember! [eek]  The last two years have been a GREEN blur! After the CXS, it 'might' have been the T18+3, but I truly can't remember what was #2.

Cheers,

Frank

Man it all started last summer with a RO150. Then a RO90 and a bunch of sandpaper for both. This year it all went...downhill  ;). A new Kapex (to take advantage of the 10% sale they had back in March), then an MFT3, the OF 2200 router then the MFK 700, the OF1400 and LR32, the Carvex and all the extra bases... it has become a blur for me now...I know I have spent well over 6K on Festool this year alone and do not regret anything. And to think I was one of (ignorant) critics of this company a few years ago...
