@smorgasbord I don't know if there's any Lamello connection, quite possibly, but it's a vastly different beast in operation and design, even the blade housing has had clearance designed into it for the arbor so you can sneak the blade as far as possible for minimal distance from the edge.
I went and measured the blade height, with the blade very comfortably clearing the housing it's 8.4mm from the outside of the housing to the far side of the blade. With about another 10-12mm or so adjustment, so you can trim horizontally from a minimum of 8.4mm high to around 20mm or so, more if using packing. I think the depth can go to around 25mm or so, forgot to measure that though sorry! Perfect for laminated flooring.
The other pics show how the motor can be swivelled 90 degrees, which can be incredibly useful in tight spots. I've seen these go for as little as $125AUD which is an insane bargain for such a useful tool.
I'm actually thinking of getting an 8mm thick blade for it so I can use it to do the long slots for the Lamello Divario connectors. This seems perfect for that.
