NYC Subway, 2 train, between Chambers St and 18th St.

Love it. Out of curiosity, are people on the subway there as friendly as the ones in your photo? (Assuming you're not transporting goods/tools during peak times)

Thanks. I'd say by and large Yes.. those business guys got a big kick out of me and a buddy bringing a huge stack of 10/4 Cherry (on a dolly) on the train (late morning- after rush hour).

A guy I know moved here from the Big Apple, his transport was a motorcyle with deep, high saddle boxes.

did a bit of alterations to mine to add a few more sys's and added a small raised floor to slide my bench and guide rails under

I fit kitchens all the time, ( which are delivered direct) so my system is based on tools to hand and rubbish collection of the old kitchen rather than using a skip
I use a high sided transit truck similar to the picture attached for a skip
I have a fully racked out Ifor Williams trailer just like the one in the picture
(Don't have any pictures at the moment)
I put up my 4.5meter x 3 meter professional gazebo (workshop)
All my Festool equipment is then rolled out for each job....... The joy of stacked systainers
All my sundries are kept in my trailer whether it be for plumbing, electrical, in fact anything for kitchens
It looks very professional and customers are amazed that there houses are always clean and tidy, with no rubbish or tools lying around

So its not all Festool, but its organized right for us. We keep the Domino and Kapex @ the shop until we need it.

It is unbelievable how much easier it is to stay organized with systainers. I love not having to build a shelf system to hold all different size and shaped tool boxes from other tool manufacturers. Since I don't have shelves it makes it easy to unload my van if I need to haul materials or case goods.

We run two to three install crews. We could always use another ct. We never thought we would invest so much on vacuums. They keep the house cleaner which in return makes our homeowners happier.

I added a router into my worktop as well as routing to make it an uber MFT. The top measures 27"x 11'-5" and is 3/4" MDO plywood. I needed it to be white to help reflect light and keep the truck bright and cheery. I primed, applied 2 coats of top coat, and three coats of waterborne poly. Dried glue comes right off the surface! With the clamping elements it's easy to hold material while routing, sanding, and cutting.
