I was using my Zobo drill bit to drill angled holes in a Beech handrail for spindles when I snapped the 2.3mm insert bit. The bit is used to guide the main bit for steep angled holes. I tried to use a standard metric bit but the Festool bit is an odd size (2.3mm) and is tapered( bravo Festool!). My local Woodcraft told me they couldn't get a replacement bit as the Zobo kit is not available any more. Any ideas on how I can get some replacement bits?
Thanks
Curt

[size=13pt]Curt, replacement Zobo parts do exist but maybe not in NA. These references and part numbers may assist you when contacting Festool US or ordering from Europe. However I could not find them on the UK site.

According to the Festool U.S. site, Zobo bits are still available in Kit form, but not individually as they are here and in the UK. This may explain it if there is any issue in NA with spare parts?!

There you go!

I also found it on Amazon sold by Hartville, but I would buy from Tom first personally.

I bought mine from Tom.

Called Tom today and luckily he had the drill bit and he sent it right out! The replacement set cost $26:00 and consists of the drill bit and two points. Tom was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. Thanks everyone for the quick responses and the recommendation to call Tom.
Cheers

I was going through my phone getting rid of old contacts when Tom's name appeared. I only talked to him one time when I ordered the Zobo parts. We talked for about 20 min talking all things Festool and my order. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. Last Friday one of the roofers that we use had one of his guys fall of a roof and die. It was brutally hot and towards the end of the day he was complaining about numbness in his arm. It just makes you think how  precious life is.
Cheers
Curt
