I know the zobo was a limmited run. at least in the US.  looks like u can still get imperial or metric from timber tools.  I was not paying attention and missed my chance to purchase the kit.

For what it's worth I picked up a set of the Zobo bits and I've been quite happy with them, pricey yes, but once you compare it
to everything else festool they are a relative bargain  [huh]

I have quite a few festools already and I do wince at the price when buying them... but after I use them I always forget about that part.  I have wanted a forstner bit set that would do this for so long... just bummed they pulled a bridge city tool limited run.

2 bad they don't make one that has the locking feature that is standard on torq bits. oh well.

Well, as the saying goes, if it's too good to be true - it usually is. The Healey's Tools link above was clearly a pricing mistake on their website. They were polite enough declining my order by making excuses on 'selling out, just before you pushed the order button'. Just for your knowledge.

That's a shame.  I did get mine cheap (but not that cheap).  I gather some dealers got the bit set free by ordering drills that came with a set as part of a Festool promotion.  When the promotion ended they offered the bits cheap.

The adapter that Alex linked to would be used in conjunction with this and then it will have the centrotec locking feature.
I'm not sure why the adapter doesn't come with, or at least mention that you would need to purchase the additional chuck.

Those Zobos do not have a Centrotec shaft.  Just thought I would point that out.  They still look like excellent forstners.

When did they start stocking Festool? I mentioned that they should start carrying the range a couple of years ago but they were unenthusiastic.
