I bought my first festool last year.a TS55 and 1.4 m rail and Midi extractor,
my problem is I live in London in the UK and to be able to work on building sites here your tools have to be 110V,which really is annoying my transformer is 3.3KVA and its to bloody heavy to be carting around from job to job and the power is just not there.
I have now bought a Kapex 120 in 240v because iam fed up of not having the power as previously all my saws have been 110v , but now my kapex is not compatable with my extractor ahhhh.
FESTOOL SUPORT ANSWER was they recommend all there 110v tools should run of a 5 kva transformer, have you seen the size and weight of those things.
extremely annoyed wish my first purchase was 110 v,whoever makes the laws in this country site tools should be 240v also now with modern circuit breakers and RCD's anyone else in UK find this frustraiting?
