One of the interruptions to the last job I was working was this monster. There will be base cabinets below in the final install, and this goes on top. It is just over 60" above the counter-top line, with the center opening at nearly 102" wide. That center section splits in the middle, a few 6mm Dominos and Lamello Clamex hold them at the back and top. All of the faceframe pieces are loose, to be applied in the field, all with 6mm Dominos too.
I did some glass panel cabinet doors for this job, earlier in the week, but I think those have been delivered already?

[member=7239]RonMiller[/member] it's just the typical laminate (HPL) that is very common to commercial cabinetry.
It just happens that this vertical-grain pattern is very forgiving to seams on the width. Some of it might just be the size of the photo though? If you save it, so it can be expanded, you might see the access holes for the Clamex fittings. There are 4 little holes (5mm) along the seam for them. They can be covered with FastCap style sticky dots, but with a giant TV in front of them it might be pointless.
That top rail is in 3 pieces, that should be easier to see, since those seams are in the length of the grain.
A lot of times, when doing things like this, someone will insist on having solid wood for the face-frame (stained to match) but it never really looks the same.

More pics. Closer to the seam and the test sample to fit the Dominos in the styles.

Apparently it went together well. The installers were so happy with this one, that they sent me a pic, without even having to be asked.

Thank you. It's particularly gratifying when a job goes as well as this one did.
It was even taken apart for shipping by my helper/apprentice, since I was on vacation that week.
He didn't have much to do with this one, as I had him on another job at the same time, but I did explain how to get it apart and mark the parts.
