15 Gauge Finish Nailer Advice

Looking at the Dewalt and Bostitch 15 Gauge finish nailers.  I see Bostitch has a FN or DA model.  Looks like the degree of angle is different between the two models.  Is one better over the other for crown molding, trim installation, etc?

No advice on that specific 15 gage nailer.  I did just get a Milwaukee 15 gage nailer (battery-powered) and I am finding it much handier than my old Porter-Cable 15 gage nailer. 

No hoses or compressors to carry around.  This was especially handy when applying crown molding in a small-ish bathroom where the compressor and hoses were a mess.  If I left the compressor outside the room, the open door got in the way.  If I closed the door and put the compressor in the room, everything got in the way.

The gun was surprisingly about the same weight and size as the P-C unit.  Cycles fast.  No compressor noise.  I like it. 

I have nothing bad to say about the nail gun you are asking about, but I am calling it quits on air powered nail guns.

I have the Dewalt (precision point). Just love it. Will place the nail exactly on the dot where you want it.  Not 1 misfire or jam. Light weight compared to the battery operated. No complaints. It's a work horse. Anything specific you are looking for?

I have the Gen II Milwaukee 15ga and it's great...punches right through quarter sawn oak.

I had been planning to phase out my extensive range of air powered staplers and nailers, especially after buying the 15ga Milwaukee.  I probably have collected 12 air powered fastening tools over the last 50 years, primarily after the little Senco I've had since they were  first introduced.  Then Milwaukee brought out the 18v compressor, now I will continue to rely on my Grex and various other air tools, and utilizing the 18v 15ga brad nailer.  I don't use framing nailers as I usually build with steel.

I have the senco fusion series. But if your going to go with bostitch, get the DA version. The fn is their own version of DA, as they changed the angle. DA is is the same angle as senco, metabo hpt, dewalt, mil, etc. cheaper nails as you more manufacturer options.
