18 volt batteries

Will all 18 volt Festool batteries work on all 18 volt Festools?
I just purchased a Vecturo basic set thinking I would be able to use the 18 volt batteries from my T 18+3 Drill. Well I tried both of my drill batteries (fully charged) with no luck when you turn the tool on you a 1 second hum and that's it. Batteries work perfectly in my drill show fully charged. I phoned Festool help line and after the fellow researched it he said they should work.
Anyone had this issue?

Hi,
  Since Vecturo will run on the compact 3ah 18v battery, the drill batteries should power it just fine. Exactly which drill batteries are you using?

All of my 18 volt batteries will actuate the OSC 18. It's only the 15 volt batteries that refuse to work.

I was curious about this, so I grabbed one of my 12v LIon batteries from my C12 and popped it in my OSC18.  The OSC gave the same electronic -beep- that the drills make when they hit their torque setting.

If your OSC is actually starting up the motor and then shutting off after 1 second, you're making the right choice in going back to the store.
