19' Sapele plywood countertop.

More pics.  Now I just wait for the finisher to come in.

This one is for Wuffles:  a clear shot of a pocket screw (the one going horizontally in the picture.. The other pocket hole is for the nosing.  You can also see the block that I glued an screwed in  to bridge the joint.  The joint was incredibly strong after doing this.  I was not shy at all when I had to put the blocking in to raise the top up, and didn't hear any type of popping nor saw any type of stress on the joint.

Thanks Scot, thanks Neil.

Finish will be clear conversion varnish.

A big shout out to Qwas and his guide rail square.  It made setting up in the clients garage and cutting square parts ridiculously easy (as usual).

Many thanks. I've ordered a jig from a shop here in the UK and look forward to playing with pocket hole screws in the future.

It's pretty dead on as far as color on my iPhone.

Finisher bagged out and canceled on me today!  Tying to make a good impression with this builder and stuff like that certainly doesn't help.

This work looks fine I wonder if I wouldn't have tried veneering the top to provide a thicker top veneer. Plywood is ideal for carcasses but wear and tear on tops makes me uncomfortable when it comes to every day wear and tear.
