Ain't it great when it all comes together?  I found that for me once it *clicked* I could then look at the system in a different way and the clicks came more often.

Enjoy your tools and post some picts.

Yeh!  That's a great feeling when it all comes together and works as planned.

To quote George Peppard:

" I love it when a plan comes together! "

That's great!
If you'll be Domino:ing ply a lot I'd recommend the Domiplate. I'ts an awesome 3:rd party accessory.

Good to see your shop project moving forward sooner than later. For me it always seems like "later" when I try to get time for the shop.

A silly question, but is 'nominal' 1/4" and 1/2" plywood in the states the same size as here in Europe i.e. 6mm and 12mm?

Just wondering would a Domiplate centre the mortises on this side of the pond? [unsure]

In my experience it doesn't centre the slot in the plywood, but that doesn't matter - it's the fact that it is a fixed distance from the surface that matters, not that it's centred.

*POP* rather than *click*, for me at least it's usually a *POP* when my head dislodges from my arse. Otherwise, I  can relate to that learning experience. Glad you're enjoying success and hope you continue with the rest of us to learn more and more, how little we've really mastered.
