I purchased the Festool parallel guides and immediately noted that they have no means to keep them level with the material being cut. I initially tried using a clamp but its a pain to fiddle with. These stay connected and can be slid along the guide as required. I printed up these simple brackets and they work perfectly. I can make the model available if anyone wanted to print one.

Great idea.  My guess it others would love to know how to get that printed.

This looks like a great enhancement. I would suggest you try to commercialize. Look at someone like Hans at TSOproducts

These can be printed pretty cheaply on shapeways.com or other 3D printing sites. I will post the model and a drawing tomorrow at work if anyone wants to make some These could also just be made out of 3/4 plywood, maybe couple layers laminated together and probably be just as good.

it would be probably hard to commercialize at this point now that is has been posted on the internet.  Patents would be difficult or not available.  Anyone can duplicate his design now.

Just being honest.

I just tapped a thread in the stops and used a flat piece of whatever to hold them up.
