3D printed "dry fit" dominos (DF-500)

Stumbled on these and have been printing them for use in the shop. Basically just a little undersized so they're easy to remove after doing a dry fit on your joinery.

Printing them in green so they're easily spotted when it's time to switch to the real thing. There are several models out there if you search yeggi.com. I haven't seen any for the DF-700 yet but I'll be modeling those myself and will make them available.

About 6 hours to print a full plate of the 5mm
Thanks for posting this! When I created these I posted the link on some Facebook Festool group lists, but didn't know about this forum. If anyone is looking for the larger dominos for the DF-700, let me know via this thread and I'll add them to the group. Since I don't have the 700 I can't test the fit, but if someone is willing to test them for me, I'm good to create and add them.

@pengel200 Welcome Paul, and thanks for making these available!

I think it's a dead cert the guys here would like ones for the 700 as well!
OK. I'll model the 700 dominos and set up a print file. If someone wants to volunteer to do the test prints for fit, I can get them the files. I usually test on soft maple, both end grain and side grain. I should have something this afternoon. Volunteers?

12-100 and 14-100 prototype print file attached. If someone could test and let me know if the fit is good, that would be great. If it's too loose, using a feeler gauge to let me know the difference would be great. On the other hand, if too tight, if you could do a metric caliper reading before, sand to fit, then a reading after. I can fine tune this. I've attached the print file with both dominos on it. Once it's properly fit, I'll create the other lengths.

I do think these are a little too thick. They are showing over the nominal sizes. I modeled mine slightly under and they were still a little too tight on first iteration. I have also added "pull holes" to make them easier to remove with a driver bit, etc.
