8.0 amp battery

anyone else found that these are really not what they are made out to be ?

Just purchased x2, both fully charged for 3rd time, used on CSCYS50 TABLE SAW, one drained within a few minutes of using saw, so was essentially running on one battery...............never an issue with the 5 or 6.2. amps

You may have a bad piece. Get back to Festool and possibly include the CSC 50 in the ticket as well.

In theory, there may be an issue with the saw not taking the power properly/symmetrically as well.

Possibly, before sending in the stuff, try swapping the position of the batteries in the saw - if it is the saw, the battery at the "same" position should drain. If it is the battery, the same battery should drain overly fast ...

Before a technician has a chance to go over it there is no point making any conclusions.

thanks for the input...........did swap the batteries out for the 5.2.......no issues with them.

I will take it up with service though.
