80/20 profiles 1.5" question

What is your use case? I can't envision using the 80/20 15 series with the typical router setup due to the height.

Hi Richard,

I don’t necessarily have a specific use in mind at this point in time, but the thought of turning them on edge as part of a flattening sled of a larger size than the Woodpeckers product,which I have but haven’t had a chance to unbox and play with, and spanning a larger size.  While cleaning up I discovered that I have a bunch of 1/2 Lexan that could be used in a sled.  The ability to assemble and disassemble and flat pack is also intriguing.

Got it. I cobbled together a flattening sled a few months ago using 1515 and those connectors I posted earlier. Likewise, the ability to knock it down was critical, and all the parts were repurposed from the modular MFT setup.

v1.0 was really clunky but it gave me some ideas for improvements and I picked up a chunk of 3/8" Lexan with the intention of coming up with a permanent setup. Somewhere I have some photos if they'd be of interest.

FWIW I ordered a bunch of 4040 and 4080 off Amazon and it has been totally fine so far.
