8'x4' Bench + Saw Horses

I can set two saw horses in front of the main assembly table and drag the MFT worktop on top of these to create an 8' assembly table that remains flat/level/stable due to its torsion box style construction. If I set the horses 4' away it makes two 8'x4' benches with 2' of space round the perimeter of both for full access to work.

WW those are the type of ideas that would be great to have at the bbq to share with folks.
I know their to heavy to haul but cool. Those triangle stops you made that mount to your MFT might good to bring. Shop made jigs are always very cool

That's nice,I like how it's a bit higher until you move it over to the horses.
Not very portable but looks very stabile. Nice shop based table.

The underside of the MFT has a radius on all the 20mm holes in the 25mm ply so Festool clamps can be used.

The whole thing is held together with lots of Titebond II, pocket hole screws and 16g brads. It's very flat as it was constructed and clamped with many Besseys on to the assembly table that's beneath it. The wide boards are the feet that sit on top of the saw horses when it's pulled out (and turned over) to make an 8'x8' or two 8'x4' tables.

I like your bench and thought I would show one of mine.
5-2x4"s
All screws are low
The gussets are 3/4" left overs (whatever is on the job)
I drilled a 2"whole in the gussets to hold a saw.(the saw of choice in my area is a 71/4" worm drive saw with a foldin hook on the handle) when folded out,it goes in the holes.[attachimg=2]
The plywood is added as needed. 3/4" holes
Most of my work s with damentional wood,but I am doing more sheet goods .
