I'm happy for you to talk about this. AmbiSaw for iPhone has been on the App Store for nearly a year but I haven't received a huge amount of feedback so anything that promotes discussion is good.
We're considering porting AmbiSaw to Mac as well - do you think that is worthwhile?

Doesn't it have something to do with the grain direction -- that the grain runs one way for a 4x8 and the other way for an 8x4?

I wrote asking if there was an iPad version and the answer was YES [smile] in beta testing.
I was invited to become a tester and have just downloaded and installed it.
I will be playing with it for a while and will review it later
I have checked and the developer is happy for me to talk about it.

He is also thinking about a Mac version. Comments?

Very happy to get feedback!
Thanks

It has been fixed. Turns out it was a java script protection bug.JeromeM said:jmbfestool said:Oh I also noticed the Ambisaw version did not have autorotate! But the navi and AmbisawPAD (iPad
Have you been using Ambisaw connect? I tried it and the first time it worked but since then it won't sincronise. Bay be it's a beta bug?
jmbfestool said:lol sorry didnt reply! No I have not been using the connect yet! Is it any good?
Yes I have if you set it for cross cut it does a poor job. The buttons have no feedback, you don't know if they have been pressed. The tool bar sometimes disappears, but rotation does bring it back.I have had a few bugs with the AmbisawPad version but thats expected as its an BETA version have you had any yet??

It does work :I have been using the import function and it does what it says it will. I have just put a 84 piece cutting list in via connect and it is there and in the AmbisawPad program. But deletion only sort of works.

What have you found?
I would class this as an Alpha release or a very early pre beta at the best. What do you think?
Just about to e-mail Andrew with my BETA test findings now.
