I hope they do limit the sale to one per customer. Also, I hope dealers do a first come first served with the available sanders. Actually, I should post this in Bob's thread.

[member=41633]Staniam[/member], your credit card is charged when it ships.
If you pay with Paypal, it is billed at the time the order is placed.

SOLD!
Im getting married in 18 days and I would end up on the nightly news as murdered if I spent anything on Festool right now.
Cochese said:Pending charge is fairly common. It also depends on your card if it impacts your available balance, etc.
Shane Holland said:[member=62563]spllbnd2[/member], welcome to the forum.
The question was if we charge the card now or when it ships. We do not charge until it ships.
As far as I know, virtually any website you order from will do an authorization on the card. This checks for availability of funds and places a temporarily hold for those funds. It is not a charge and on my credit card is shows up as "pending". This makes sure that we (and any other online retailer) can collect the money once the product(s) ship. You are not charged interest during this time since we have not collect the monies from you.
Apologies if that was not said. Like Cochese said, this is a very common practice. Any website that doesn't do that is opening themselves up to fraud which is not good for the retailer, the bank or the consumer.

No, no concerns. I have live feed from Festool PRO 5 Sander new manufacturing facility in Wendlingen. Here is today's 3:00 am snapshot:

Same here! Ordered from festoolproducts on Wednesday, and glad I did before the suspension. Tracksaw and dust extractor next I think. This sander may be a loss leader for festool, but in this case will likely lead to me dropping $1200 additional, not to mention all the accessories for these products. [member=48572]Shane Holland[/member] Is there a blue hard pad that will fit the new PRO 5 sander?Shane Holland said:Rustys said:Can you use the existing ETS125 pads with new PRO 5 Sander? I apologize if I missed this question before.
[member=61515]Rustys[/member], yes, you can use all of the ETS 125 EQ accessories with the PRO 5 with the exception of the old Turbo dust bag. I don't think it would work because of the new dust port's outside diameter.

mcooley said:Any news on why Festool pulled the graphic down for the new sander? I imagine they oversold it. In my case the dealer ordered 20 so they are just making a list people who want one. I imagine it is a different system for online shops. I don't think Festool is the best at organizing their promotions. The confusion seems avoidable.
Shane Holland said:Svar said:Is the voucher transferable to another person? Not sure I'll buy another tool, could just give it to someone else, add a follower the green cult. [big grin]
[member=15585]Svar[/member], there was nothing to say that it wasn't transferable, so I would assume that's fine. [member=57769]TylerC[/member] can confirm.
