I finally found a few minutes to do some sorting and tidying today. I have a long way to go, but I thought I'd start by organising my abrasives. I had ~40 boxes and 8 empty abrasive systainers [embarassed]
What I found when I opened the finer grit 150's was annoying ... all of the sheets were curling and were incredibly hard to get back into an even stack to fit into the systainers properly. After getting very frustrated trying to align the disks, I decided to use a pencil and thread the disks onto the pencil by their centre hole. That simple trick made my life a lot easier!!!
I now have 8 systainers full of abrasives and a sys5 with the odd stuff, belts, etc. I'll probably get another large systainer for all the hand sanding stuff.
I am starting to question my sanity a little - staring at a stack of 8 systainers full of abrasives, the overflow sys5 plus 2 SURFIX systainers. All of this stuff would probably fit in 3 or 4 reasonable size drawers [eek]
(tear lid off cardboard box, put in drawer - Doh)
