I haven't used it alot; maybe 100 cuts since I bought it 2 months ago.

Today I slide a piece of wood across and it wouldn't go.  It got hung up on the insert.  (the black plastic thing that the saw blade goes through even with the table).  It seems to have buckled; I can push it down, but when I let go it comes right back up.  It wasn't like that yesterday.

Anyone else have a problem like this?  Does it sound like a warranty issue?

I made three zero clearance inserts yesterday and the whole process took less than thirty minutes.  I'd recommend you do the same.  It will improve the quality of the cut and you won't have to worry about the plastic flexing.

I had this same problem, it appears the plastic inserts can warp / buckle over time, at least they did on my saw.  I threw mine away and made my own zero clearance insert.
