Did everything except the glass and counter top. I'm 1000 miles from my shop so I could not do the quartz.

Curious about the pitch in and out of the shower to the linear drain.  Looks curbless, so I imagine the floor of the entire shower is pitched towards the drain.  Are the tiles outside of the shower area pitched towards the shower or level...or did you pitch the entire room?  Just wondering how you handled this as there are a few ways to go and I've got a similar project coming up soon.

The floor in the shower is pitched 1/4" in 12" per code and the TCNA. I used the Schluter LS system.

Totally curbless.

The floor outside the shower is flat.

The floor/room is waterproof until the water gets to the floor register.

Use the Schluter system.

Tom, did you have to notch the joists to install the LS tray? If so, did you also sister in some additional joists?

Yes.

There are pictures of doubled and triple floor joists from bearing to bearing.

I had to double joist with or without the LS tray. The tub ladened is 51 pounds per square foot. The floor design was 40 pounds per square foot.

I noticed a bunch of trim head screws in the flooring shots.  Did you use those to install the floor?  Or just a board?

The floor is Jatoba. I tried my flooring stapler with staples and cleats. The tongues were breaking it was very frustrating. This is the second floor I've had to drill and screw, the other was Ipe.

The GRK trim head screws made the floor install a pleasure.

Just...wow.  I didn't know the curbless even existed and I really like it.  Wishing now I'd done a little research before we did ours.  There are times I wish it was possible to do walkthroughs and see the work up close and in person.  If the craftsmanship is that apparent in pictures I can only imagine what it looks like in person.
