The MFT/3's v-groove is touted in its product description.  I can see how it's easier to mount something to it without having to slide it from the ends, but I was wondering what else is out there besides what Festool make that can be used with the MFT/3's v-grooves?

Yes, the kapex extensions work and the angle head. As far as I've been able to find those are the only two things that fit. Not sure why there aren't a multitude of attachments for it, seems like a no-brainer to me.

It's a great pencil storage spot.  Always have one or two available and those are important accessories for me.

I know what you mean, I have screwdrivers, pens and all sorts in mine. Given the lack of accessories here I might have a go at making some of my own. I have a few ideas for it.

accesorise to your hearts content but remember the forum rules [eek], if there is no pics it didnt happen [big grin]

Are the KU-UG Kapex extensions compatible?

I think so but there might be some issue, I remember JMB mentioning something.

That is true, the issue is that the knob to tighten the clamp can foul the MFT extrusion. An improvement would be to use Bristol locking handles.
However, the clamping part only needs to just connect with the extrusion and the hold remains firm.
They have been useful when needing to support kitchen worktops while routing corner joints etc.
There are some threads on here to do with 'shop made accesories I think they got termed 'holsters'  ;D
Try a search for them.
Rob.
