Welcome back!!

The only way to get Festool branded clothing is to strike a deal with a NAINA FOGGER and smuggle some NAINA accessories across the pond in return for T shirts, etc.

Mmm, weather's going to turn soon, may have to puruse Uncle Bob's site for a fleece!!

Now what am I going to trade for that??? [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]

There was a post here within the last three weeks about Festool branded work clothing that was manufactured by a company in Sweden I think.  I have searched and can't find it.  Maybe someone will find it and post a link here.

What I am working towards is FOGwear.  I admit that I have not had the time in the last couple of weeks to work on this much and I have pallets of blue boxes in transit right now - so this project might have to wait a little bit.

Peter,

Are you referring to Blaklader?  Remember Brice's shorts?  [big grin]

Oh boy, here we go again. [big grin]

BTW, I've put my Blaklader long pants to good use on a roofing job I'm working on now.  The built-in knee pads are a life saver.

I have those too and definitely agree with you.  Now you just need to get the Festool version.

I just picked up a pair of the long Blaklader pants with the pads and I agree.  They are great!  [big grin]

The clothing was similar but they weren't that brand.  I am so mad that I didn't bookmark the website.

You can find the Festool Workwear overhere: Workwear

On the Houtbeurs 2010 in Rotterdam last week the guys at the Festool/Protool stand were also dressed in these clothes.
But I forgot to ask where to get it from.

For folks interested in Euro- or Swedish type workpants ie Björnklader, Fristads, Blåklader etc. The removable kneepads work well, but if used a lot the pants typically tear out above knee seams. full time roofers and floor guys, stick with external kneepads.
If ordering slide in knee pads for the abovementioned brands, avoid the flat, thick PU pads, they are not comfortable, whereas the cheaper contoured/sectioned kneepads work much better.
For guys that do a little of everything, and or work in a shop, these pants are great.
Many of the newer designs like Fristads "Fas2" and Blåklader are functional improvements over the traditional 100% cotton models EXCEPT they have a slightly more "baggy" design and the worthless parallel-to-the-leg front pocket opening that allows loose change to fall out every time you sit down.
If you are into this type of work clothing, you will love the work shoes over here, such as Jalas and Sevi from Finland, Lightweight safety boots/shoes/sandals with impact toe caps and nail-proof soles. I thought the idea of closed toe nail-proof work sandals were crazy when I first moved over here, now I wear them right up till when it begins to snow.

i wear bosch work trousers and swear by them but im running out of the freebie shirts i have eithe won or been giving by dealers and i would like some festool ones i swear i saw them in the axminster store in nuneaton i will have to check them out again soon

thanks for replies guys ive been overrun and not had much time to post

Actually the quality of swedish workwear are generally very good, a bit expensive sometimes but you can find many swedish brands that does not cost o fortune. This page might help Arbeja arbetskläder small shop with lots of brands.  [wink]
