So the illustrious Dougie had an idea (I think it was him) to combine the Accutrax Pencil Blades with Bostitch's dual blade knife.  Story behind that knife is..... welp, it's a box cutter that holds two blades in the ready at once.  They each have their own "extender".  Rather than throw out, flip your blade around, just retract it and extend the other blade.

Now, load up a pencil blade along with a regular blade.  You just eliminated the need to carry a pencil or hunt for one throughout the day.  We thought this was pretty cool and represents a large savings of time.

I just tried several times to buy one of these on-line.  Kept getting an error that said my address did not match the one on file for my credit card.  I check my account on-line and then called my bank.  Every looks good.  I do use a po box for billing and a different address for shipping.

My bank suggested that your system may be set up to throw the error message in this situation.  What do I have to do to buy one of these?

Gateway Response: The transaction has been declined because of an AVS mismatch. The address provided does not match billing address of cardholder.

Does the blade knife have constant support for the pencil blade for the trapped portion of pencil blade?  I have already broke my 1st pencil blade using a Kobalt knife.  It broke at intersection of support/nosupport within the knife - trapped portion.  Not on the exposed portion of the blade.  The few minutes that I got to use the pencil blade has raised my hopes that a better knife provide a longer life.  Hoping to reduce carpenter pencil use/sharpening/use/sharpening  [big grin] [big grin]

GD, we haven't had a problem with'em using William's knives.  They're you're classic $10 box cutter with on board storage for extra blades.  It may be a case of exactly what you said, a point of no support within the blade body causing an issue.  I believe the guys are also demo'ing this Bostitch knife up front with the pencil blade and have not had any issues yet.

rlj, give us a buzz, toll free at 877-TOOLNUT, any of the salesmen will be able to ring you up right over the phone, or we can give you a call if you'd like?  Sounds like there's a tight security threshold on the site (which we maintain on all our sites to protect the CC owner) that may be catching an issue with the billing address.  Not to worry though.

Sure it follows a straight edge like money, but I can't see writing down measurements with it. Which means having other writing instruments.  I would buy it to improve accuracy, but I can't see it saving a bunch of time. [unsure]
