Adapting shop vac to ts 55 dust port

Is there any easy way to adapt standard shop vac 1 1/4 host tots 55 dust collector port.

Perhaps use the Woodcraft reducer fitting and some duct tape...or the Festool fitting that goes over or into the 55 (27mm inside, 36mm outside) dust port and some duct tape to attach it to the vac hose.

Fein makes a step adapter that will go from a standard 1 1/4" to 3/4'. I cut the first section off of the narrow end and this ID will be close to the 27mm OD tool port  on the sanders and such. The OD on the next section back seems to fit the 36mm ID on the TS saws. The Fein number is 9 21 072 K13. We carry it under our ID# 86.921.072 for $4.75.

I have a Festool hose I got prior to my CT-36 that fits into the shopvac port.

Might even be willing to part with it now that I have "Uncle Fester" doing the dirty work.
