Hi,

I've added a miter slot by way of the CMS extension table and an aluminum block.  The process was removing the profile on the underside of the table cover plate, machining the block so it would fit perfectly in the existing table side rails and would provide a guaranteed reference to the table for removal and insertion.  The block was then attached to the underside of the table cover plate and then the slot was machined.

Hope this is helpful to others!

Very cleaver. I wondered why the CMS didnt have a miter slot from the factory. I also see that the center of the extension table can be removed. Mine has a slight dip in it and I need to get it flat to match the rest of the table

Hi,

You may be missing the plastic spacers on one side of the frame where the center panel mates with the frame?

Thanks Ill check . Im going to take it apart to see whats up with it. Its close but still has a noticable gap when I use my WP straight edge on it.
