Has any one added a Moxon Vise to their MFT/3 ??? If so how did you do it.

I made mine with a small table section on it. I've used it on all my benches including the MFT; my main bench has 20mm holes drilled à-la-MFT

Neil took care of it for mewoohoo! Thanks, Neil!
I generally don't post videos of my vices anyway; if I did, it would just be me having too many Mojitos with a certain Polish girl and getting absolutely nowhere. Then there'd be the sipping of Malbec from Mendoza, AR while chatting with Chris Wong; you need wine to chat with Chris Wong... My other vices are stored, temporarily, in my incognito browser cache and really wouldn't make much of a video.
But there is a vise video or two on my site for ya on the Moxon vise.Yeah, I used to spell it wrong, too, before someone caught me on it
Now don't tell me you are making a vise to help hold together your neighbor's Shed of Doom... what is the latest on that anyway?!

I really like your tall Moxon bench. I have been thinking about making one for quite some time. I got a Beall 1" threading kit, and I have been having trouble getting the threads right. The nut does not turn anywhere near as smoothly as the one in your video. Can you give any advice on what specific diameter I should turn the dowel before threading it, and advice on how to tweak the Beall threading device/router combination. Any help would be appreciated.Chris Wong said:PaulMarcel said:Then there'd be the sipping of Malbec from Mendoza, AR while chatting with Chris Wong; you need wine to chat with Chris Wong...
Of course, that's only because my ideas (such as this table) are so far out there that it takes a glass or two to believe that I'd tackle such a thing, and due to the complexity, that wine will temper the frustration and anxiety it inevitably causes... Kapex! Everybody drink!
Chief,
There is also the Moxon twin-screw vise that doesn't sit on top of the bench, but is rather installed so the jaw is flush with the work surface. Is this what you mean? Here's mine.
