Advice needed on how to do move some wood

So, Some Alder came down on my property. Most of the wood is being hauled away. But I am trying to see if I can keep some of the wood to maybe fashion into small tables. The wood itself is super heavy and I somehow managed to get it into my garage using the lawnmower trolley attachment. They are about 3-4 feet in diameter and about a foot long but too heavy to lift. I know someone who can cut it but I need to get it to him. So if I rent a trailer I can get it there. But how do I get it onto a trailer? Any ideas?  And is my idea sound for these pieces of wood?  I want to cross cut it so that the faces you see become the top of small tables.

If you have some type of flat dolly ...............  jack it up or pry bar it up onto the dolly then wheel it onto the trailer.

Stand on edge back trailer up to it ....................... tip onto trailer bed.

I think that the process of cross cutting is referred to as making cookies. Matt Cremona (on Youtube) recently did a video on the process. The cookies need to be tried carefully so that they do not check and crack. He is doing an experiment using Anchorseal and Pentacryl to aid in the drying process. Check him out.
