I am trying to create a bullnose edge on 1/2" thick material.  The material is baltic birch plywood and I think its actual thickness is 15/32". I have tried using a round over bit and always get a lip at the peak of the bullnose.  What type of router bit should I use to make a uniform full bullnose?

Thank you.

I am in the process of trying that too.  I have a 1/2" bullnose bit, but the material is 12mm thick and set up is frustrating me.  Any advice on set up?

Depending on which side you want the non-tangency, use the work piece as a gauge block of sorts.

Yes I am almost there.  Tom, thanks for your help.

Router table ?  You should be able to adjust the cutting height to have the center of the bit at the center of the material. As long as the bit is at least a 1/4" radius it should come out even.

Seth and Tom, thanks for your help as I cleared this hurdle and am now good to go.

I am using a 1/2" bullnose bit and a Veritas tapered guage to set up the bit height.  Now it is all dialed in!
