Aftermarket Festool Compatible Accessories

I bought these $4.00 bar clamps from Harbor Freight.  I ground off the dimple at the end of the bar and that allows the clamping ratchet to be removed.  I also ground a chamfer on the end of the bar to make insertion back in the ratchet mechanism easier.

I slip off the ratchet end, and fit the bar through a hole in the MFT-like top I made, and then reattach the ratchet.  This is a medium duty to light duty clamp, but it is perfect as a hold-down.

The modification took about 5 minutes with a bench grinder.  A right angle grinder would work also.

Hello. First time here, so if my question has already been covered, let me know.

Has anyone 3D-printed a dust cover for their TSC 55 KEBI plunge saw? Looking for something similar tohttps://www.strawbyte.com/merchandise/plunge-saw-dust-cover-for-makita-sp6000-h5zcb-47mk8 but closer to me (in Ontario, Canada), but not the cover platehttps://www.leevalley.com/en-ca/sho...55-60-plunge-cut-circular-saws?item=ZA577341.

Will eventually get a dust extractor, but until that time, looking for a temporary solution.

Thanks.

Two inch painters tape works great.  I also use the tape to enclose the blade opening when cutting plastics to reducing the electrostatic plastic chips spraying everywhere.

Someone is making aftermarket 6" sanding pads, offered on Amazon by a company calling itself Ateefaee.  My Rotex hard pad finally bit the dust after 10 years, so I'm going to give one of these a try.

[member=37411]ear3[/member] I bought some off Ebay and swapped them out for the ones on my ETS EC 150's to try, been using them sometime now and no noticeable difference in wear or performance. Pretty awesome at 1/4 the price!
