What kind of hose do you prefer for interior work?

Split from another thread, edit to change title.

Amflo 1/4 in. x 50 ft. Premium Polyurethane Air Hose
Model # 16-50E Store SKU # 336728 @ Home depot

This is my favorite hose that I have tried so far I think they do come in shorter lengths.

I have the Flexzilla hose. And it is better than a lot of the ones I have used for automotive work. But it catches more for me than the Amflo hose. I would say Flexzilla for a outdoor and garage use More air flow needed. But for 23g and 18g indoor use I love my Amflow. You can't go wrong by trying them both. :)

We've been doing quite well with the Flexzilla hose, just like Tom recommended.  Lays flat, really no memory at all.  The only complaint I've heard is quality of fittings (hey, they do come "free") and that they bleach in the sun.....

One situation where Flexzilla hoses really shine is in extremely cold weather. You people up in the frozen tundra should notice a big difference at 20 below.

The fittings on the Flexzilla hose assemblies are an aluminum alloy that, in my opinion, makes them better than the typical brass fittings others tend to use. If my info is correct, they switched from brass to aluminum because of a nuisance lawsuit in California.

What are the complaints you're hearing, Sean?

Does Flexeel make a coiled hose 10' - 15' long?

Whenever I have done an internet search I have trouble finding a dealer that has all of the products. The only place I seem to find a complete list is a wholesaler or company site that is difficult to find stuff on.

Seth:

Flexzilla is a particular hose type. The company that makes Flexzilla is Legacy Mfg and they do sell recoil hoses. They are nylon, are called the "Workforce Series", and they have 1/4" in 12, 25, and 50-foot lengths. They also have 3/8" in 25 & 50-foot lengths.

I have the Flexzilla hose.  Got it at the Octoolberfest show at A.W. Meyer last year.  The rep was there showing off all their stuff and he had hose plus fittings in different colors so you could buy hose to make up your own length and add fittings to it and other hoses you may have.  He said it was a blend of two different hose types - rubber and polyurethane affording the best of both.  I'm still undecided, but to be fair, haven't used it a lot.
