British Standard Pipe Taper is not the same thread and angle as National Pipe Taper.  Talk with or send an email to the hose manufacturer about this or get NPT fittings as well.

Yeah I know thats why Im saying I can just change the fittings to bsp or just try to buy the hose without any pre installed fittings

You could buy the hose as is and bring it to a local hydraulic fitting shop to have the ends changed over to BSPT, but check on it before making the purchase.

Just got a price through from a UK dealer who has just started stocking Flexzilla its the equivilent to $120 for 50ft of 3/8" hose inc shipping  [eek] [eek] [eek] [eek]
