Im about to get my first 3D printer and pull the trigger on a QIDI X-MAX I have never even seen a 3d printer in person so this is all new to me, and have been combing through thingaverse for ideas/insparation.  Not sure if its me but its a little tough to navigate. So, I figured I would start a link for us like minded folks to post pics and or links to products and or files that have been 3D printed for home or shop use you have found helpful. Trying to keep this thread all about products made with printers not so much discussion about printers themselves.

Hi, swapped out the router support foot for the 1010,1400 for one of these when using guide rail

since there was a post recently about a shopvac dustopper cart I figured some might find this interesting.

afish, I understand the curiosity, I have been looking into getting one for a while. I have yet to pull the trigger though, so many choices.

That's really cool, much more supportive, and is has to be less snag-able. Did you print it yourself? or something from Etsy?

I dipped my toe (cheaply) in the water, not being sure if I'd really use it. Creality 3 v2 for

I really like that item, it'll give much better support than that narrow little foot.  [thumbs up]

yes, I ended up buying the qidi x-max.  qidi has upgraded it to the x-max 2. I didnt know there was a 2 until after I ordered it.  I started looking at the ender stuff and it quickly snowballed from there. I was about to drop 500ish on an ender. so I said f it and got the qidi.  If I was ordering today I would get he bambu labs x1c but the x-max was a highly regarded printer the bambu does look faster.  however, its pre order only right now.

[member=58842]guybo[/member] does that print work for both the 1010 and 1400? I only have a 1400 so didn't know if they had interchangeable bases?

The bases are different on both of the routers so I'd assume that link is for the 1010 only.

Hi,[member=73660]mattgam[/member] the plate or shoe does not attach to the base, only to the side where the foot attaches, the 5mm needs to be made up so the router sits level with the rail. Both the 1010 and 1400 use the same attachment point. see photos. It does cover up one of the attachments for the chip catcher ,but nothing for the bit itself.

[member=58842]guybo[/member] Thanks that makes sense now. I'll queue this up for printing!

I dont use my Kreg forman very often but when I do the vacuum port is always a PITA not sure what Kreg was thinking but its my worst fitting port in the shop. This is in the printer now.

MFkita.  Not sure I like the dust port option seems like it might work better if the dust port was over the bit like the MFK but looks easy to change or add if needed.  Some type of micro adjust and handle option would be nice too. I own a MFK but this might appeal to some. looks like its almost therehttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5136629

Not knocking the Qidi, but for that money, you can buy a Prusa... The Just-Works festool of the 3d printer world. =)
