Amana AGE saw blades

My own tests of Amana Festool-style blades for the TS55 convinced me the Amana were of high quality, I decided that after several sharpenings for my use the Festool blades were better value. Maybe for people using their blades less of ten the economics of the Amana might make sense.

As for the quality, for many years Amana has been the go-to supplier of the heavy-duty bits used on woodworking CNC machines, Of course we all know every bit and saw blade manufacturer makes various qualities. It is simplistic to think that because "Brand A" makes marvelous CNC bits their circular saw blades are all that special.

Thanks for the info.  I was thinking about these for jobs where I might damage or otherwise make a blade undesirable for finish or detailed work, in other words for jobs that are too rough for an expensive festool blade.

Seems like these will work, unless anyone has other suggestions.  I looked at Freud but they only have blades for the TS55 and I use a TS75.

Thanks,
Daniel

I have use Amana blades, but not for Festool. This was a long time ago.
