Amana is now offering blades for Festool.

I just spoke with someone from Amana and found out that they are now offering blades for Festool TS55/Atf55 & TS75.
They are in stock and being offered through their dealer network.

The good news, Amana blades usually sell for well under the suggested retail.  The bad news, no standard kerf width.

This is good news I finally had to buy a rip blade for my ts55 and noticed the kerf differences. When I mentioned this to the sales guy (at woodcraft) his

suggestion was to reposition the splinter guard-every time-WTF. I would call this a big fail for festool- yes we are talking about .15mm but why.

Side note I've sent 2 48 tooth blades to be sharpened and after sharpening the dull about twice as fast- I would guess this is my sharpening service anyone

with similar experiences.

BTW never had a problem with amana blades and I've had several.
