Been busy recently on what I think the US members call a "built in"?
This is an Oak Study in a rather nice house in Hertfordshire, and has taken a bit of a while as the whole house is being refitted and have had to work around other trades.
The timber used is American White Oak, not a choice of mine as the variation in figure and colour can be a bit extreme for my tastes but the client is happy with it and the possibility of more work from him.
Not totally finished yet, it needs a couple more coats of oil, and the client is choosing the knobs for the doors and desk drawers, and the sparky's have got to connect up the spots and fit the plugs.
Most Festools used in the manufacture, as was the Hammer F3 Spindle Moulder (Shaper) and some of the trim (dentil moulding, etc)were bought in.
