Another CS 50 blades question

I have a cs 50 on my way and I´m thinking about blades.
Some Festool blades for the CS are 2,4 and other 2,6 kerf width

No info about the body width. Anyone can help?

And regarding the riving knife. Wouldn´t it be a problem to mix diferent width blades with the same riving kinfe widht? I mean the riving knife could stop the wood if the cut is thiner than it is supposed to be. Or not?

I sincerely doubt Festool would make a blade for the CS50 that's thinner than its riving knife.

Hmm weird. Seems they didn't synchronize the blades thickness like they did years ago for the TS55.

Available blades;
492049 Panther blade, 190x2,6 PW16
492048 Universal blade, 190x2,6 W32
492050 Fine blade, 190x2,4 W48
492051 Special blade (for aluminium) 190x2,6 TF58
492052 Special blade (for laminate) 190x2,6 TF54

I have to say I never noticed any width of cut difference between the universal and fine blade. Never used any of the other three.

The CS 50 does not run along a track with a splinter guard.

As for the difference, 0,2 mm is a very small difference, I wonder why they even bothered.

If the body width also changes, the distance from the axis would shift a little more.
If there would be any problem someone would had reported it but it is odd they change the width in that particular blade

Exactly. And if the plate of the 2.6 mm kerf blade is also thicker, likely no difference at all.

Actually by 0,2 mm, because the blade’s zero point of contact stays the same. )

Maybe re-think that. But if you were correct, 0,2 mm is still not a big deal. I don't get the mentality of some people where they fuzz about 0,1 or 0,2 mm with wood as if it matters the same as with metal.

If 0,1 makes the cut piece get stuck in the riving knife it is a serious matter to be worried about.
That´s why I´m asking And that is one of the goals of a forum, to ask.

Precisio riving knife is 2.2 mm.

I was talking in relation to the ruler Coen talked about, not the riving knife. An offset of the blade to the ruler would result in your piece of wood ending up 0,1 mm smaller or bigger than intended. Sometimes people here talk like that would give them a heart attack, not understanding wood contracts and expands for bigger than that because of temperature and humidity changes. 

And as Svar just confirmed what I pointed out in my first post, the riving knife of the CS50 is smaller than the blades. Festool of course thought of that.
