Another Domino glue-up question

I am building a cabinet with four corner posts connected with top and bottom rails.  I am going to join the posts to the rails with Dominoes.  Does anyone know of a drawback to gluing a Domino into the ends of the rails before final assembly?  I think that it would be easier to dry fit the pieces (not having to pull the Domino out of each mortise) and would make glue-up easier as it would be one less piece to glue in place.  It seems that as long as the excess glue is removed there wouldn't be a problem.  Let me know if there is something I'm overlooking.
Thanks, Tom.

sounds good to me.
You could prefinish your pieces and blue tape half of the domino.
