This is my first post on here. I've been reading this forum for over a year hankering for some green tools. I'm looking forward to adding festool products to my power tool collection I would have made the green plunge before... but cost was an issue.

Hi,

  Welcome to the forum!  [smile]

Please post about how things go when you get your tools.

Seth

Thanks everyone.
1. I am in Los Angeles, but working in Kern County.
2. Can't wait until I get some real (fes)tools and a vacuum that actually sucks that won't give me hearing loss.

Anderson ply in Santa Monica (or in that area) is good and carry a decent amount of the range.

Yes I went to their festool demo last year. I'm probably going to pick up their cnc mft wood square.

Some of the tools you may want can be test driven on non-demo days too.

True. The woodcraft sales people in Orange County are very eager to let you try their tools. They have a pretty good assortment. I was actually astonished on how quite the CT-22 was when I heard it over our phone for the first time. My Ridgid vac (Home Depot) is so loud you need hearing protection.
