Anyone claimed on TS-55 req recall recently?

I just found out my TS-55 req has a safety recall on it after a close call with my defective uint.  [eek]  I found out Festool replaced and even upgraded for free of charge so I contacted Festool but was told repair is the only option.  I am not gonna lie to you but I was hoping for a replacement.  I am not a pro but occasional woodworking as a hobby.  Did anyone got their TS-55 req replaced recently under the recall?  I know a couple of guys got their TS-55 req upgraded to TS-75 as late as 2016.  Anyone else? 
 
First off, welcome to the FOG.

You might find someone on the FOG who has recently acted on the TS 55 recall. However, we very rarely get these submissions anymore. The recall was announced on October 1, 2013, and most of the recalls were processed in the following year or two. Approximately two years after the recall was announced -- I don't remember exactly when -- the options to replace or refund the tool were eliminated, and repair is now the only option.

Yeah, recall was right after I purchased the TS-55 req.  That was when I first started to get into woodworking.  I was too busy learning the tool.  I wish I had know sooner.
 
Of course they are going to repair the saw rather than replace the entire saw.

My Honda had a airbag safety recall, they didnt give me a new car they replaced the airbag.
