Anyone else got these in the post yet ?

A little festool box popped through my door this morning with a set of new design clips and instructions on how to fit them to my midi vac. Apparently it makes it work with the new T-lock systainers. The only difference is the small hole you can see in the second picture.

Just to clarify, the T-Loc works with the MINI and MIDI as-is. However, there is a slight amount of "wiggle" if you shake them around. I tried and couldn't get it to come loose with vigorous shaking.  So, even without the replacement latches, it would work fine.

It's not the hole, but the square around the hole that matters. It removes that "wiggle".

I received mine today and I must admit I was a little surprised to do so. I bought and registered my CTL Midi over three years ago so when I read this post earlier today I thought it would only apply to recently purchased vacs. But when I got home from work there was a small Festool-package in my mailbox.

Let this be an encouragement to everyone to register their products - there's definitely someone listening at the other end.  [smile]

I'm sure you'll receive one as well. In the enclosed letter it says that the replacement latches are for my "registered CT MINI/MIDI".

So go hunt down that postman...  [wink]

Hi Jacques,

I live in Denmark as well and I received mine yesterday so if you registered your vac with Festool I'm sure it's on it's way. But I can imagine they have quite a few to send out so it might take a while before we all receive one.  But props to Festool for doing this.

Just before I went to the USA, I received my set of latches. They are with me in Allentown. I expect to receive a 2nd set for the MINI I bought from Bob Marino. I guess I should buy another tool to test if the latches will have a better fit on the T-Locks. I'm thinking Domino and/or a sander.
