Ash and walnut table

Made this un-commissioned piece yesterday , couldn't turn down the piece of walnut when I saw it at my suppliers!
I made it originally thinking it would make a nice small coffee table, but as it is quite narrow it also would work well as a bench or tv stand.
The legs sit at an angle to the top so as to flow a bit better with the natural shape of the walnut top.

Simple and elegant. How are the leg frames attached to the table top?

Thanks, my timber supplier already had the walnut flattened so saved me a task!
The legs are attached via domino, one 10mm in each leg and also screwed and plugged through the apron.

I can see why you couldn't turn this slab down when you saw it - It's gorgeous!  Nice job on the table.

How did you sand the slab and what finish did you use?

Thanks for sharing the photos.

Sanding was done with my unfortunately not festool orbital sander ( dewalt ) but ultimately the slab was scraped with cabinet scrapers.
Then finished with a clear osmo polyx oil.
