Two great photos. Did she figure the exposures?
When our two kids were growing up, my son was totally immersed in running my excavation equipment and was with me constantly. I wanted to figure something i could work on with my daughter. She was interested somewhat in construction and did go with me quite often to meet with customers. By time she was 9 or 10, she could read plans better than the clients we went to see. She was not as passionate as our son about any part of the construction biz and I wanted to give here something the to of us could work with together.
I finally, when she was in 6th grade, a little older than your daughter, I bought her a fairly good Nikon SLR camera and a book to read up on about photography. I taught her as much as i could and helped her with exposures and shutter speed, etc. She had a great artistic eye for framing a shot and today, nearly 40 years later, she goes where the camera goes. No, that's not a mistook. That camera, by now, a closer to Top of The Liner, is the first thing you see when she walks into the house. It is nearly always ready to do its thing. It is never out of reach and she takes pics everywhere she goes. She makes great use of her photography skills in her business also.
I can see your daughter has a good eye. She should find years of enjoyment with her skill. You must be giving her a lot of encouragement.
