So as my shop becomes more and more Festool based, I find myself doing more and more projects in metric. A few years back I installed the Incra TS-LS positioner or on my tablesaw. I love the system, I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for something like it. Now onto the point. Sometimes, I want to do projects in metric but wasn't so sure I wanted to just change my whole table saw system to metric. Yes i know they do make conversion kits, but i want the best of both worlds. I wanted a failsafe way to mathematically convert metric measurements into Imperial.  Sure you can use a calculator, find the closest 32nd and figure up the difference. But I made a few mistakes a couple times and found the calculator method to be quite annoying, time-consuming and prone to error. So if you have a Imperial LS system and the plans for your project call for metric measurements, use the attached file which works with any iPhone and the Apple numbers app (should open in Excel and work just fine as well). I hope those of you out there in similar shop equipment situations as me will find this useful. Enjoy!!!

I just bought a metric lead screw and markers. It was a lot easier then converting. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Cheers. Bryan.

Yeah, just not sure I want to convert it. The cost is not an issue. I just think I do more imperial on my ts... To bad you can't put both screws and flip a switch lol. So this is my solution. If I ever decide to run my home shop metric only, I will definatly buy the screw kit.

Yeah, I get ya. I found it easier to fully convert years ago. I actually have my imperial as MY backup!

Thanks for sharing. Bryan.
