Hello all

I have a larger powermatic 64A table saw that I'm selling on Craig's list now. I only use it to rip boards as I have a Bosch miter saw and the track saw set up. So I don't need the wide rip capacity. I saw the Axminster saws online and it looks like they would work for my needs. Can one order them here in the states? I watched the new Brit work shop video on the planner and they seem like a good unit. I thought of cutting down the rails but just rather have a tool that is set up for my needs. I like the mafell table saw but the price is kind of crazy.  Any input would be great

I am hoping that Axminster will join the FOG (as a dealer) and so they will be able to respond to questions like this straight away.

I suspect that heavy machines are best purchased from NA based suppliers as shipping might be an issue.

So there is no dealers in the USA for them? I can't see to find any

Send an email to their export department (export@axminster.co.uk) and see what they say.

Thanks Peter for the link. I sent them a email. I'll let you know what they say.  The powermatic is gone this morning so the hunt for a new one is on.  I want a saw that is like the size of the saw stop job site saw but want the quality of a high end saw in a small package. Not sure if that is out there or not.

does that mean a MAFELL Erika would not do it?

I have thought about the mafell but one can not use a dado with it. It would be nice to be able to use one. Also the price is pretty far out there. $3700 is a lot of cash for a saw. It would be nice to check one out in person then maybe one might. Not many choices out there. I know others have done it how does one get the CMS insert for the track saw here in NA?

Does anybody have a mafell table saw or a hammer k3 in the Colorado Springs or Denver area that would be willing to let me have a look at theirs?  Thanks
