Hi, I just bought the Festool MFT. The brackets don't slide easily. Even with everything loosened up all the way, I have to push really hard to get them to slide left and right along the rails. Any suggestions? Thank you.

If the locking knob is loose and the height adjustment lever is up, you need to loosen the allen screw that traps the lever.  I had the opposite problem when I received mine, the locking lever was too loose and would drop below the slot that holds my slop stop in the rail.

I had the same thing, the bracket fit was very tight, sort of scraped a bit of plastic away as I slid it down the rail. I did not try any adjustments as they eventually slid to the pre installed stop and I have yet to move or remove them again.

You could see if some of friction is reduced by applying some Paste Wax to the rails.

I had a similar issue.  Look at the brackets.  On the plastic slides you will find a small grub or set screw that will adjust the slides.  Back off the screw a bit and brackets should slide easily.

Unfortunately I already tried that. In fact, I removed those tiny screws completely and it didn't help.
