I'm looking for the best band saw blades...

I just got a 14" Delta and I want a 1/4" blade to take care of the small stuff and cut curves, radius's, etc..  Then I want a larger blade to handle the other large tasks, then I want a resaw blade.  Can anyone recommend the best supplier for the best blades?  Also, if your like me and only want to keep 2-4 blades in your shop to handle all the common tasks, am I right by listing the 3 I did?

I've had excellent results with the Timberwolf blades from Suffolk Machinery.

Tell them what you want to do & they will recommend the correct blades.

They even keep track of what saw(s) you have and what blades you purchase, no need to keep track of it yourself.

Man, Thats a small chainsaw =)  Is that you in the picture?

What type of blades to you keep in your shop?

I also recommend Suffolk Machinery. There is a large amount of detailed information on their site for tuning and operating your bandsaw.

I'll second suffolk.  Call them tell them what you are going to be doing and they will reccomend the blade.

Yes, thats me in the pic.  ;D Saw is an 084 Stihl & 60" bar, tree was a White Oak that never recovered from a lightning strike.

Current bandsaw is a Grizz G0555 14", I usually keep a 1/2" for green wood (bowl blanks), 1/2" resaw and a couple of 1/4 & 3/16 for fine cuts. In all honesty I don't use the bandsaw much, but it's there when I need it.

All firewood.......
The trunk was fairly short to begin with, would have been about 6' long after the branches were removed. It was also split in numerous places, probably from the lightening strike. Throw in a few carpenter ants, some #20 spikes and a little rot and it pretty much totaled it out for lumber. There is also nobody around that had a mill big enough to take it, nor is there a swingmill owner in my area.
