Bare tools?

Just noticed recently (haven't paid much attention to it) that some of the "big" names in Power tools are now selling "Bare tools" that don't come with
the extras, Case, batteries, attachments etc...

Is this something that Festool may start to offer?

I know that we only have batteries in our cordless drills in NA, But should the Carvex ever arrive, it would be nice to purchase just the Jigsaw itself.

I've discussed the Carvex, even recently, and it is coming. That being said, there's a likelihood that the Carvex and impact drill could be offered without batteries and chargers for those who already have Festool cordless drills. I believe this is the case in other countries where those products are currently available.

If bare tools are an option....what about bare batteries and a charger kit?  Not yet having the drills I need batteries and charger for my Syslites.  [poke]

They're already available as accessories for the drills.

There will also be sets, just like we have now, that will include the batteries and charger for those who don't have a Festool cordless product.

I'm not in need of a carvex, Sorry if it seemed like i was pestering you. I see no need to replace my working Trion  [smile]

I was just thinking another drill body would come in handy now and then

It would also be nice to be able to buy corded tools without the Plug-It cords.  I have an overflowing drawer of 'em.
