Base for the 1400 Router

Boy do I wish Festool would make a totally round base for the 1400. I have a couple of Jigs that I would use the heck out of the Router if it did...

It's also easy to make your own out of phenolic (just use a circle jig or similar) and then use the existing base as a template for the holes.

Can't beat the quality of Pat's router accessories. And at $36 for the base with screws the price is right. If you have a means of centering the base that's all you need. But you can get it all if need be for a little more. I like his books too. Received one as a gift many years ago and refer to it now and again.
