Batteries for C15

I am purchasing the C15 Drill Set (564374) and the Ti15 Hybrid Driver/Drill Basic (564358). Can the Fast Fix Keyless Chuck (496905) work on the Ti15 Hybird as well? The reason why I ask is that the part number and description for the Keyless Chuck  on the Ti15 Hybrid accessory is different: Keyless Chuck (498886) vs. C15 Fast Fix Keyless Chuck (496905).

I guess in general I am trying to confirm that all the accesssories in the C15 Drill Set (564374) are compatable with the Ti15 Hybrid Driver/Drill Basic (564358) since I am buying both to combine them into the Sys 3 that comes with the Ti15 Hybrid Driver/Drill Basic.

I have searched the Festool website, hardcopy catalogue, and Woodcraft website and all appear to have conflicting info on the keyless chuck.

You should be able to use the C15 keyless chuck with the Ti15 if, and only if you use the special Ti15 adapter TI-FX 498233.

The difference between the Ti15 keyless chuck and the standard C15 keyless chuck is that the Ti15 keyless chuck has a mechanism in it that neutralises the impact motion of the Ti15.

The TI-FX adapter does the same job. You can mount the C15 keyless adapter on the TI-FX.

I believe the Ti15 Basic version comes with the TI-FX adapter so you should be good.

...but apparently they work interchangeably... I just checked.  I actually don't think I had ever used the Ti keyless chuck.

Great - thanks for the help. I am learning that most things are not readily apparent with Festool marketing, even after i dig in multiple areas.

So other than the centrotec chuck, i will need to use the i15 adapter TI-FX 498233 on all C15 accessories? And if I want 2 people to use the keyless on both drills at the same time i need to buy a separate Ti15 chuck.

You need to use the Ti adapter on the impact if you want to use the right angel, eccentric or depth stop chuck.  The Ti15 basic does not come with a keyless chuck so you'll need to buy a second one if you need two keyless chucks.
